KasperCalc Advertising Policy

1. Introduction

KasperCalc is, and will remain, free to use. To help cover the cost of running it, we partner directly with companies that serve the engineers who use this site and display their ads as simple, static images. We do not use Google Ads or any other advertising network. This policy explains how those ads work, where they appear, and the standards we hold advertising partners to. 2. How Ads Work

Every ad on KasperCalc comes from a direct partnership between KasperCalc and the advertiser. There is no ad network, auction, or automated ad-serving system involved.

• Each ad is a static image that links to the advertiser's website.
• Ad images are hosted on KasperCalc's own servers and load along with the page, just like the site's other images.
• Every ad is reviewed and approved by KasperCalc before it appears on the site.
• Ads are clearly identifiable as advertising, and links to advertisers are marked as sponsored.

3. Where Ads Appear

Ads on KasperCalc are placed in dedicated space beside the page content — not inside it. On wide screens, ads run in fixed-width rails to the left and/or right of the calculators and reference material. On narrow screens and mobile devices, where there isn't room for a side rail, a single ad may appear inline with the page content instead.

We do not place ads:

• Inside a calculator's inputs, outputs, or results.
• As full-page interstitials or pop-ups/pop-unders.
• As overlays that must be dismissed before you can read the page.
• As animated, video, or audio content.

4. Ad Format

Ads are static images only (PNG, JPEG, WebP, or SVG). They contain no animation, video, audio, or scripts of any kind. We optimize every ad image so it loads quickly and displays crisply on high-resolution screens, keeping the site as fast and professional as the tools on it.

5. Advertiser Standards

We aim to keep advertising on KasperCalc relevant and brand-safe for an audience of engineers and technical professionals. Ads must not:

• Contain deceptive, misleading, or false claims.
• Link to malware, phishing pages, or deceptive download prompts.
• Contain content that is illegal, adult, or otherwise inappropriate for a professional engineering audience.

We reserve the right to reject or remove any ad, at any time and at our sole discretion, for any reason, including ads that don't meet these standards.

6. Your Privacy and Ads

Ads on KasperCalc do not track you. They contain no tracking scripts, pixels, or cookies, and we do not record views or clicks of individual ads. Seeing an ad does not share any information about you with the advertiser.

If you click an ad, you leave KasperCalc for the advertiser's website, and that website's own privacy policy applies from that point on. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for how KasperCalc itself handles data.

7. Ad Blockers

Because our ads are simple images served directly from KasperCalc rather than through an advertising network, most ad blockers will not hide them. KasperCalc never requires you to disable an ad blocker to use any calculator or tool on the site.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Advertising Policy from time to time as our advertising program develops. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
